A SMALL TOOL WITH A CLEAR PURPOSE

About Wingdings Lab.

Making curious characters easier to write, find, and read.

How the translator works

Wingdings Lab maps individual keyboard characters to Unicode equivalents, using the Unicode L2/12-368 reference for Wingdings, Wingdings 2, Wingdings 3 and Webdings. It preserves case, whitespace and unsupported characters.

What you see and what you copy

The site uses the open-source Noto Sans Symbols 2 font to display Unicode symbols. Those symbols can look different from the original Microsoft fonts and from the same characters in another app. Microsoft font files are not distributed here.

Image decoding

The image tool lets you keep a screenshot beside a clickable reference chart. You choose each matching symbol. It does not perform automatic OCR, send images to an AI service, or upload them to a server.

Independent and free

This is an independent tool, without affiliation with Microsoft or Undertale. Wingdings and Webdings are Microsoft trademarks. The translator has no account requirement or paid features.
